“The work explores the negotiable nature of meaning. I come from a critical theory and visual studies background, and have always been drawn toward nuances, interstices, and margins; places made invisible by conventions and dominant norms and narratives. I submit everyday objects, current events, experiences to an intuitive process of transformation to draw out new connections, and create unstable textual and visual identities.”
